Capacity Building Workshop

To upgrade the skills and moral of the youth of Swat, a war and terror affected area, a joint workshop for democracy, good governance, peace, conflict management and youth activism was arranged by Innovative youth forum (IYF) and College of Youth Activism and Development (CYAAD) at a prestigious hall at Makanbagh Swat.

Where Noor Zeb Shah Utmankhel was the main organizer, Bil awal was the host, Dr. Mazhar Khan was the key speaker on democracy, Fayazullah, Saifuddin haider, Asim Jan Advocate represented IYF and actively participated and facilitated each of the activity. Madam Nasem Ara and Irshad Khan and his team represented CYAAD.

Different interactive activities were arranged to give the participants of the workshop the idea of democracy and how to utilize the available resources in the development of peace and resolution of conflict. A dynamic learning environment was created by the student participants to discuss the process of economic empowerment of the people of developing and politically unstable nations, including pakistan.
The objectives of democracy and the success factors for international democracy were discussed by Dr. Mazhar Khan, concluding that how country like pakistan can be diverted towards a successful democratic system, interrelating democracy with Islam.
